AKVXT1R stair edging (nosing) comprises an aluminium channel with a choice of insert material that extends around the leading edge of the profile to ensure that foot contact is always made with the slip-resistant element of the stair edging. It features a new unique mechanical locking mechanism that secures the insert in place making it ideal for use in areas subject to intensive cleaning e.g. healthcare and education environments. It is a rake back, single channel profile with a 70mm tread and 40mm riser. It incorporates a notched ramp back that has been designed to overlay 2mm vinyl floorcovering. This provides a neat finish, protects the edge of the vinyl from lifting and ensures a safe transition.
